Games CANCELLED on 7/6

Since we still don't have the state guidelines on Phase 3 (which includes games), we have cancelled today's games.  Practices will still be held until Phase 2 guidelines.

HLL & Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update – 7/5/20

Dear HLL Volunteers, Families, and Players,

We hope everyone enjoyed a great holiday weekend with family and friends!  As you all know Governor Baker has announced that Phase 3 will begin this Monday, July 6th.  This is certainly a great positive step, and we know that everyone cannot wait to get started with real games.

That said, we are waiting for the State to release new Phase 3 guidelines for Youth Sports.  The State’s website indicates that they are “coming soon,” and we are hopeful they will be released on Monday with enough lead time to understand new guidelines and communicate them out to you quickly.  If this is not possible, we will continue with Phase 2 guidance (i.e Practices ONLY) and reschedule impacted games.

We will update you as soon as possible tomorrow, once we have more information.

Stay safe and we will be in touch soon,

The HLL Board of Directors

HLL COVID-19 Updates 6/23/2020

Practices for Hopkinton Little League are beginning on June 24, 2020! This is an exciting milestone that has taken a lot of work from a lot of people, and we hope that our kids are excited to get out there. For this season it will be very important for everybody to follow the safety protocols and plans that HLL has worked with the Board of Health to implement. Please read the HLL COVID-19 Best Practices.

For much more details around the protocols that have been put in places for players, coaches, and the HLL Board Members who will handle all season logistics please see the HLL COVID-19 Safety Plan.

**In the draft leagues, teams are made based on player abilities, in an effort to ensure teams are a mix of skills.   Team swapping is not permitted after the draft, so there is less flexibility with practice slots.   Please include all known scheduling conflicts in your registration.    Conflicts that arise after registration and before drafts (mid-February) can be submitted to hopkintonlittleleague@gmail.com.

In non-draft leagues, practice conflicts can generally be worked through, even after teams are formed.
